Description of the Area:
The Chinese government goes to great lengths to suppress and eliminate “unregulated” churches from its country. These are churches that do not follow the Communist-mandated Three Self-Patriotic Church. In February 2009, Christian human rights attorney Gao Zhisheng, was dragged away by a dozen Chinese police officers and underwent brutal torture, according to sources in China..

The kidnapping incident was the most recent in a long list of abuse leveled by Chinese officials against Gao. Over the years, Gao has withstood several kidnappings, brutal acts, arrests, and imprisonment — all because he has stood firm in his faith, defending the persecuted and downtrodden throughout China.

Description of the Operation:
Today, we can make a stand with Gao by taking our own steps of faith. Bibles Unbound has launched a new operation inside China. You can send New Testaments to people who need to hear the life-changing message of God’s Word. Our contacts have already selected the names and addresses of recipients, and now all we need to do is get these Bibles overseas.
